After being ordered to do so, the US Department of Justice released the affidavit used to justify the raid on former President Donald Trump’s Florida home. But it provided little information, as virtually all of the 30+ pages were redacted.
But the raid on Mar-A-Lago is just the latest example of politicized investigations and actions the FBI has undertaken since Trump became the GOP nominee for President. There are now two different groups of whistleblowers inside the FBI alleging that top agency officials quashed an investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop in 2020.
Also, the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, said the FBI warned the social media company ahead of the 2020 election that Russian disinformation was coming. That warning came after the FBI had Hunter Biden’s laptop, but before the New York Post published the story exposing the contents of the device. The warning prompted Facebook and Twitter to censor the Post’s story.
