Brett interviews Scott Hamilton from the WBT newsroom to discuss the legalization of online sports betting in North Carolina and what it means for betting at large. The legalization of sports betting in North Carolina is “shocking” to Hamilton. The attitude to sports gambling across the country has vastly changed over the last decade, making it’s legalization not only accepted but anticipated.
In the third segment Brett shares clips from a CMPD press conference where they shine a light on the courageous women in blue. They also discuss some of the programs they have implemented to help support the needs of the women who serve the citizens of Mecklenburg County.
