Listen here as we’re joined by Angelo State University political science professor and retired Marine Dr. Bruce Bechtol to talk about the relationship between Iran and North Korea in wake of the developing situation in Israel and Palestine.
Dr. Bechtol talks about how North Korea’s arms deals with Iran end up arming groups like Hamas and Hezbollah + shares details about the size of some of these shipments from ones that have been intercepted.
Bechtol also shares some information about how we know North Korean weapons made it to Israel + what he thinks will end up being the ramifications of the relationship between Iran and North Korea. Finally Dr. Becthtol and Brett talk about the role they think Hezbollah will end up playing in the conflict as they get even more weapons from North Korea than does Hamas per Dr. Bechtol, possibly including chemical weapons similar to those used in Syria.
