The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board adopted a series of policy changes to comply with a new state law called the Parents’ Bill of Rights. Teachers, parents, and activists expressed outrage. One school board member said she and her family are harassed because she’s bisexual and her husband is gender fluid.
