A federal judge refused to block Microsoft’s acquisition of video game giant Activision Blizzard. Sony asked federal regulators to block the $69 billion deal while legal challenges played out. Sony’s PlayStation is the market leader in video game consoles, but the company claims Microsoft’s deal will limit competition, despite assurances and offers of legal contracts from Microsoft that ensures Activision’s major titles remain available for Sony’s customers.
