Just four days before the election that will determine the majority of the North Carolina Supreme Court, the four Democrat judges ordered the Legislature to spend hundreds of millions of dollars more in education spending. The General Assembly was never named in the lawsuit – which has been going on for more than two decades and is known as the Leandro case.
