Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking about his invite to Longview Country Club by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Republican Women organization where Tulsi Gabbard is speaking tonight. His invitation was quickly rescinded after former U.S. Representative Gabbard requested that there be no media at the event.
Later in the show Brett discusses an accusation made by District 41 State Senate Candidate Lucille Puckett where she claims that her opponent, Caleb Theodros, who beat Puckett in the primary, is lying about living in the district. Theodros submitted an address within the district as his residence when signing up to run but used a different address that is outside of the district as his mailing address. Mecklenburg Board of Elections is hold a hearing to get to the bottom of this issue on Tuesday, April 23.
