Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by giving his condolences to the Thompson family following the loss of their daughter, and sharing all of the condolences coming in from WBT listeners across North Carolina and beyond.
Brett is joined in studio by Charlotte City Council member Tariq Bokhari to discuss the issue of homeless people residing in Charlotte Douglas International Airport and what is being done about it. Bokhari, along with the rest of Charlotte City Council and other local leaders have began to address the issues of homeless and panhandlers in Charlotte.
Brett and Councilman Bokhari also cover the rules implemented with CMPD following the women being beaten by the police outside of a Bojangles following them approaching her after she was seen smoking marijuana.
