Brett then shares audio from CMPD chief Johnny Jennings in the wake of the controversy. Jennings explains why the officer is suspended + and takes questions about how he wants his officers to handle similar situations in the future.
Finally Brett talks with District 7’s City Councilman Ed Driggs about what Charlotte City Council thought about the footage after viewing it + how the city will handle any potential lawsuits that could result from the situation.
