Tune in here to catch this Tuesday edition of Breaking with Brett Jensen!

Brett starts the show by talking about the election season officially being here and explains why local and state/federal elections are on alternate years + dives into which of the local elections coming up will be the most interesting to watch and why in and around Mecklenburg County.

Brett shares an update about the “Waxhaw Wall,” after crossing paths with them while moderating a debate there.

Then Brett talks about why he thinks the District 3 and District 6 City Council races are the most important in Mecklenburg County + the challenges facing incumbent Republican Tariq Bokhari in his bid for reelection in a rematch with Democrat Stephanie Hand and how the incoming population to the area could favor Bokhari.

He also shares audio from his interview with James Bowers, who is running for the District 3 spot and talks about a unique aspect of his race + closes out the show with thoughts on the mayoral race in Cornelius and the GOP mailer strategy in Huntersville races.
