As the Pastor continues his Sabbatical, WBT is happy to present an encore presentation of a very special show with an absolutely remarkable guest, World War II Submarine Veteran (& Pastor Chawick’s Father-in-law), Harper Brame.
Originally broadcast last Memorial Day, David is also joined by his wife of 45 years, Marilyn, who has the honor of introducing her 95-year-old father.
The youngest soldier on his sub, Mr. Brame is it’s only standing survivor. He shares his unique perspective as a member of the company with the highest WWII mortality rate of nearly twenty-five percent.
We get not just the story of a greatly-valued survivor from the Greatest Generation, but also of a daughter who thanks God every day that her father not only survived, but thrived in the years following the war, sharing his life with his wife of nearly 70 years.
