Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking with Daniel Redford, the President of the Charlotte Mecklenburg chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, about calling them calling out Charlotte City Councilman Braxton Winston on Facebook for his posts about last Monday’s shooting. President Redford claims his comments are hollow and only for personal gain in hopes of aiding Councilman Winston’s campaign for the North Carolina Secretary of Labor.
In the past Councilman Winston never supported CMPD, repeatedly voting against aid to CMPD from more money to equipment and more according to Redford.
During such hard times for Charlotte and CMPD it is shocking for a political figure to virtue signal by claiming support for CMPD when behind closed doors the support is severely lacking.
