This episode is presented by Create A Video – Activists are organizing against an expansion of Interstate 77 through Charlotte, after a NCDOT plan was unveiled that included a double-decker highway with toll lanes. The activists successfully pressured their Democrats on City Council to hold a vote to delay the project for 60 days. But the Council probably doesn’t have the power to actually stop the project.
