Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking with Daniel Redford, the President of the Charlotte chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, about calling out Charlotte City Councilman Braxton Winston on Facebook for his posts about last Monday’s shooting. President Redford claims his comments are hollow and only for personal gain in hopes of aiding Councilman Winston’s campaign for the North Carolina Secretary of Labor.
Later in the show Brett talks with Krista Bokhari about the Adopt a Cop Program that matches community members with local police officers to help show these officers some love from the community for their hard work. It is important for police officers across the country to know that the citizens that they risk their lives to protect support them.
