Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking about the shooting in Charlotte today that began with law enforcement attempting to serve an arrest warrant on a felon, the situation quickly turned deadly as the suspect opened fire from his front yard. The suspect was shot by law enforcement, and when they approached the suspect gunfire erupted from within the home leaving seven officers shot, three U.S. Marshalls were killed, and one CMPD Officer is in critical condition.
Later in the show he shares Police Chief Johnny Jennings and Mayor Vi Lyles comments on the situation from a press conference held this afternoon.
