Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking about a woman and 2-year-old boy who were attacked and burned in Monroe. Brett shares a clip from a press conference with the police discussing what happened, at this time they aren’t sure how the attacker burned the two but claims it was an assault and robbery. The woman’s burns are not life threatening and the 2-year-old boy’s condition is unknown but the child is currently at Wake Forest’s burn unit.

Brett also shares more information on the District 41 State Senate race with yet another layer of drama added to the situation. Lucille Puckett hired a private investigator to investigate Caleb Theodros, the private investigator attached a GPS tracker to Theodros’ car in an attempt to find out where he lives.
