Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking about Mecklenburg County Board of Elections coming to a decision on the dispute between Lucille Puckett and Caleb Theodros over the District 41 State Senate seat. Puckett accused Theodros of lying about living within the district although this claim has been proven false twice after today’s decision.
Scott Hamilton from the WBT Newsroom joins the show to discuss the dispute over the demolition of Beverly Hills Elementary School. The Save Our Schools organization is fighting to keep the school from being torn down and replaced with a Pre-K school.
Later in the show Breaking Brett Jensen shares U.S. News and World Report’s best high schools rankings which paints a grim picture for Charlotte metro area schools.
