Tune in here to this Tuesday edition of the Brett Winterble Show!

We’re joined by Father Bill Nicholas from the Diocese of Evansville, Indiana, to talk about yesterday’s eclipse and the spirituality of the event. Many news pundits and various other people on social media push that the eclipse was a highly spiritual event. Father Nicholas asserts that this spiritualization of such an event is clear evidence of the spiritual starvation taking place in our country.

The natural beauty is a product of God’s creation but the event isn’t the spirituality, God’s fingerprints on the world is what makes natural beauty feel spiritual to mankind. We shouldn’t be mystified by these natural phenomena’s, we should be in awe of the power of God and his ability to create such breathtaking events.

Brett and Father Nicholas also discuss a Bishop in the Diocese of Charlotte who is stepping down.
