Later in the show Brett shares stories from across Charlotte, the first story is about how technology is making us worse people overall. There is a young man in Charlotte who was recently arrested for a plethora of crimes including reckless driving, possession of 150 pounds of various drugs, assault with a deadly weapon, and more.
The young man is a repeat offender who films and posts himself fleeing from police, racking up well over 100,000 likes. This is a great example of how social media incentivizes bad behavior that may acrew thousands of likes but gradually degrades our society.
