Truitt has fallen victim to the political machine that has a special way of smearing the good name of public servants. Current superintendent Truitt has had untrue claims made about her, such as allowing convicted sex offenders retain their teaching license and more. These heinous claims are unequivocally untrue, in fact Truitt helped pass the Protect Our Students Act to prevent this very thing.
Superintendent Truitt also dives into Covid and how it impacted students, and the school system at large. She also discusses other things she has done in an effort to guarantee long-term success for North Carolina students as well as the state at large.
