Then Brett shares his exclusive 1-on-1 interview with the Lenora Shipp, the only incumbent running for Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board. Brett starts the conversation by comparing her previous campaigns to this current one without any incumbents running in + shares her thoughts on the calls for change within the board.
Later in the conversation she explains what she see’s as the biggest challenges for the school board and CMS itself before talking about why she thinks that people should vote for the school bonds on the ballot this election.
In the second half of the show one caller shares his thoughts on the education system in Charlotte and the United States as a whole + Brett explains why he thinks CMS may need to split up.
