Brett and Tariq begin the show with Tariq comparing last summer’s campaign vs. Stephanie Hand compared to this cycle’s before he highlights what he sees as the biggest differences between he and Stephanie + what he’s learned is the issue people in District 6 are worried about the most.
Later in the show the discussion turns to Tariq’s thoughts on the Charlotte Observer endorsing his opponent after endorsing him in the past as well as his co-interview with Hand that garnered some local attention + the attacks he’s been subjected to in his tenure on City Council.
Tariq also explains his views on whether or not he’s voting for the new school bonds on the upcoming ballot + shares which of his accomplishments so far he is the most proud of.
