The 2020 Time Magazine Persons of The Year honor was announced last night by Bruce Springsteen in the first ever televised announcement of the annual nod.
Joe Biden joins 9 other President Elects in being named the Time Magazine Person of the Year: Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Lyndon B. Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
Vice President Elect Kamala Harris is the first VP to ever earn the distinction.

The pair beat out other nominated politicians, former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Adams, President Donald Trump, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Witmer and Vice President Mike Pence.
Nominees from the medical field were, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, along with essential workers that include medical, police and firefighting personnel.
Black Lives Matter activists were also nominated as a group.
From the world of entertainment, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Ariana Grande and the South Korean pop group BTS were also nominees.
Sports figures nominated include WNBA basketball star Sue Bird, NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, NBA star LeBron James and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
