Reversal! CA lawmakers approve increased jail for child trafficking

After blocking a bill to increase the penalties for child trafficking, California Democrats caved to pressure and outcry and reversed course – approving the bill out of committee. The Sacramento Bee newspaper blamed Republicans and the Q-Anon conspiracy theorists. Yes, really.
