Coffey shares details about how much the Army projects to miss their goal of recruits for the year and why this is a particularly dangerous time for the United States to have a depleted military. Coffey and Brett discuss some of the main reasons recruitment is down — including one surprising one: many Americans simply not qualifying for enlistment.
They also speculate about the possibility of returning to a draft + why Coffey thinks that is a ways off and instead why the solution might lie with society itself.
