The Charlotte Zoning Committee recommends rejection of a drive-thru for a new Chik-Fil-A and a Starbucks on the Eastside, because they don’t “support environmental sustainability policies contained in the Charlotte 2040 Plan.” Plus, transportation funding in NC is getting an overhaul.
