Mecklenburg Sheriff: hundreds of resignations are a “minor problem”
The two challengers to Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry McFadden say the jail is not safe for inmates or employees, prompting staff to leave for neighboring counties. Responding during last night’s debate, McFadden said it’s a minor problem attributable to COVID.
