Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking about President Biden’s speech at the convention, pointing out that it was scheduled late which he believes could have resulted in lower viewership from key states. and a half-empty arena during Biden’s speech and accuses the media of underreporting or not showing dissenting voices or protests outside the event. He draws a comparison with coverage of protests at Republican events, suggesting a bias in media reporting.
Later in the Show Jensen interviews Dr. Crystal Hill CMS Superintendent Jensen is upset about how Dr. Crystal Hill and CMS handled media access. He criticizes Dr. Hill for allegedly excluding certain media outlets, including the Charlotte Observer, from a press conference because of past coverage that CMS found unfavorable.
During the press conference, Dr. Hill claims that CMS chose media partners based on their history of accurate reporting. Jensen disputes this, arguing that the exclusion of certain outlets implies a bias and questions the integrity of CMS’s claims about media accuracy.
