Chief Jennings points to the importance of addressing mental health among law enforcement officers. As public servants who deal with some of the most gruesome and violent things in society day in and day out; we must all be aware and considerate of the fact that these are just people who are vulnerable to these traumatic events just like everyone else.
Brett is joined by York County Sheriff Kevin Tolson to discuss the importance of mental health awareness among law enforcement officers and how it should be addressed. Sheriff Tolson has decided not to run for reelection in order to dedicate himself to spreading mental health awareness among law enforcement officers around the country.
