Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking with Charlotte City Councilman Tariq Bokhari about his potential petition to demand that CMPD Chief Johnny Jennings step down and what lead up to this bold step by councilman Bokhari.
Councilman Bokhari claims that he has tried to find new equipment that will better serve and protect CMPD officers yet every proposition regarding this topic has been shot down by Chief Jennings. Councilman Bokhari has started a gofundme to raise money for higher-grade bulletproof vests for CMPD Officers, if the money is raised and Chief Jennings still says “no,” Councilman Bokhari will take the next step in demanding Chief Jennings step down from his position.
