Breaking Brett Jensen kicks the show off by talking about the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landing and the soldiers who were on the beach on that fateful day returning to Normandy. The average age of these veterans is 100 years old, we don’t have many more years with this heroes, we must learn all we can from them and appreciate them while we still can.
Brett shares a clip from President Ronald Reagan’s speech at the D-Day Commemoration Ceremony as well as other world leaders speeches from this years ceremony. One of the speeches he shares is a speech from former President and General, Dwight D. Eisenhower, before the went to war, this is a speech from a great man who saw the horrors of WW2 with his own eyes.
