The CDC cited data over the last few months that shows vaccines are working to slow the spread of the virus and will continue to protect against non-specific variants as well. It also found there is more data to support claims that vaccinated people transmit the virus at a much lesser rate than those who're not protected.
About 7 million people have received the single-shot vaccine in the United States. And out of those people, six have reportedly experienced cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) blood clots as of Tuesday morning. "Right now, these adverse events appear to be extremely rare," the agencies added.
"Vaccines can help us return to the things we love about life, so we encourage every American to get vaccinated as soon as they have the opportunity," CDC director Rochelle Walensky said in a statement

Everyone over the age of two arriving to the US from a foreign country will need to furnish proof of a negative test no more than 3 days before their flight departs. The new rule starting on Jan. 26 will be put in place to curb the spread of Coronavirus as different variants are being discovered around the world.
