Welcome to this Hump Day edition of the Vince Coakley Radio Program!

Vince starts the show by talking about the vast amount of choices people have for consuming news and media today compared to when he was growing up + why he thinks we need to stop funding NPR amid the story about the editor who was suspended for talking about the bias there.

Vince also talks about a court ruling that he’s pleased with even if there can never be fair compensation truly given and why he thinks it is a good argument for “bonding” for politicians after a decision about how North Carolina handled restaurants and bars during COVID + a story exemplifying his belief that companies connected to Charlotte do well with Bojangles announcing their expansion to California for the first time.

In the second half of the program Vince talks more about Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie telling Speaker of the House Mike Johnson he may as well resign from the position as momentum grows to replace him + his thoughts on how Johnson responded.
