The Charlotte Hornets were named among the organizations to receive the Front Office Sports Best Employer in Sports Award presented by FEVO on Tuesday.

The Front Office Sports Best Employers in Sports Award, presented by FEVO, was voted on by 1,600 industry professionals and “recognizes organizations across the sports industry that are excelling in the arena of employee relations and are setting a new standard for company leadership.” The companies are recognized as respected organizations that continue to foster an outstanding company culture with a focus on diversity and inclusion, along with a strong work-life balance.
Four major professional teams made the list with the Atlanta Hawks being the only other NBA team as part of the elite group. No Major League Baseball teams made the cut with one team each representing the NFL and NHL respectfully. And no professional teams west of the Mississippi.
