Later in the conversation she explains what she see’s as the biggest challenges for the school board and CMS itself before talking about why she thinks that people should vote for the school bonds on the ballot this election and why she thinks the amount asked for is necessary.
Shipp also shares her future goals for the schools in CMS when it comes to student achievement as well as why it is so important for schools to provide safe and supportive environments to students in order to help reach those goals.
Finally Shipp talks about why it is imperative for a community like Charlotte to have a high-quality school system and addresses the common argument against the school bonds.
