2. Rookie tackle title (2012)
Kuechly led the entire NFL in tackles as a rookie, a rare feat that foreshadowed the workhorse career ahead and earned him Defensive Rookie of the Year.
3. 24-tackle statement game vs. Saints (Week 16, 2013)
With the NFC South on the line, Kuechly logged 24 combined tackles and an interception in a 17-13 win, a performance that fueled his Defensive Player of the Year case.

Kuechly piled up 156 tackles and helped push Carolina’s defense to second in the NFL in points and yards allowed, breaking a four-year playoff drought.
5. Divisional Round pick-six vs. Russell Wilson (Jan. 2016)
Kuechly stepped in front of a Wilson pass and returned it 14 yards for a touchdown just minutes into Carolina’s playoff win over Seattle.

He capped a blowout of Arizona with a second postseason pick-six in as many weeks, punctuating one of the most lopsided conference championship wins in NFL history.

Across Carolina’s full playoff run, Kuechly totaled 29 tackles, two pick-sixes, four passes defended, and a fumble recovery — as complete a postseason stretch as any linebacker has put together.
