Wink Martindale, beloved host of classic shows like Gambit and Tic-Tac-Dough, has died at age 91 after a battle with lymphoma.

Known for his smooth delivery and warm rapport with contestants, Martindale was a staple of American television game shows for decades.

Before his TV fame, he had a successful career in radio and once famously interviewed Elvis Presley.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy, and children from his first marriage.
