Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board member Rhonda Cheek joins Bo Thompson talking about the likelihood that CMS will drop it's mask mandate for the school system in light of the Mecklenburg County Commission lifting the county-wide masking requirement.
In the first hour of the show, Pete talks about Mecklenburg County's decision to keep the mask mandate ongoing in Charlotte.
“We’ve just had our highest numbers of cases and hospitalizations in about two months,” Cooper told reporters on Wednesday “There are a number of things, particularly in getting people vaccinated, that we are able to do because we’re in a state of emergency.” New cases have increased from near all-time lows.
