The original judge in North Carolina’s long-running Leandro school funding lawsuit says public schools are afflicted with a “failure of classroom instruction.” Judge Howard Manning said too many adults in the system are not prioritizing student achievement.

In the first hour of the show, Pete talks about the NC Board of Appeals blocking the 1.7 billion transfer of school funding from the Leandro Case. 

In the second hour of the show, Pete continues to talk about how the effects of the Leandro case may have more wasted funds being put into the K-12 school system in North Carolina - without the discussion in the North Carolina General Assembly.
