The longtime Charlotte staple announced Thursday they'll be closing their doors for good on Saturday, June 19. Management for Queen's City landmark said they're ceasing operations due to a labor shortage, rising food costs, food quality and a coin shortage.

Northlake Mall is currently locked down after multiple reports of shots fired at 3:50 p.m. ET. A large police presence is currently on scene. At least two people were injured trying to evacuate the mall.

Truist confirmed to CBJ all of the branches will close on March 30. A spokesperson said there were no job losses associated with the closures. All of the branches have a nearby counterpart that will stay open for customers. The second-largest bank in Charlotte, TFC takes in reportedly $80.6 billion per month.

Police say the incident happened around 1 a.m. in the Mint Museum Tower Parking Garage in downtown Charlotte. Shamond Sellers, 19, is accused of holding a knife to the victim's throat, blindfolded her and bound her hands behind her back with rope. Police said the woman was able to free herself and call for help.
