NC Treasurer Brad Briner joins Nick to discuss the increase in insurance premiums this year, and the reasons for it. In the second half of the hour NC State Auditor Dave Boliek stops in to talk about what his office has been doing, and specifically about the financial situation in Rocky Mount NC. His office has also been a leader in trying to get younger voters involved through a robust internship program.

In the second hour, NC Republican Senate candidate Michael Whatley discusses the situation with a female teen in Indian Trail who was injured when she played against a transgendered male who was allowed to play in women’s sports. The discussion then turned to how this policy by former governor and NC Democratic Senate Candidate Roy Cooper and other policies have hurt the state.

The remainder of the show involved a discussion of the policies of Governor Cooper, the end of the Graham Platner campaign, and what Brett will be watching over the weekend.
