The TJ Ritchie Show is a nighty talk show on WBT Charlotte that covers news and politics, along with everything happening in entertainment, sports, and…well…life!  Because he’s “America’s Coolest Conservative,” TJ breaks it all down in a way that everyone can understand and enjoy, delivering pinpoint political analysis with wit and a heaping dose of Southern charm. Hour 1: 

​Segment 1: 

Subject: TJ opens the show talking about a woman in Charlotte who won the Powerball drawing last Saturday. The woman won $500,000 off of a $3 ticket, with the odds of winning that amount being 1 in 11.6 million. TJ then explains what he would do if he won the lottery.

Segment 2: 

Subject: TJ shares audio of a young woman who posted a video to social media. In the clip, she says we don’t need the Second Amendment since people use guns to do bad things. He then goes onto break down the clip, including the “upspeak” that the woman uses to convey her message.

Segment 3: 

Subject: TJ talks about Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee pardoning country singer Jelly Roll. He mentions that while Jelly Roll has become a successful singer in recent years, he had a criminal history prior to kickstarting his career in the recording industry. TJ then goes onto have a lighthearted conversation about what he would do if he was the one to pardon Jelly Roll.

Segment 4: 

Subject: TJ talks with a caller about a reason for Jelly Roll’s pardoning, and another caller who relates the young woman’s rant about the 2nd Amendment to a scene from the show “All In The Family”. He then transitions to talk about people becoming sensitive to several Christmas traditions.

HOUR 2

Segment 1: 

Subject: TJ talks about how trans-identifying people have a tendency to be selfish. He shares a audio of a transgender Christmas song which brings to light the selfish and narcissistic tendencies that these people tend to force upon their loved ones.

Segment 2: 

Subject: TJ discusses Michelle Obama’s obsession with her hair, recalling a clip from a previous show that he shared of her talking about it. He then explains that there is now a trend where White women are feeling the need to touch Black women’s hair. He contemplates whether this “hair touching” is real or not.

Segment 3: 

Subject: TJ talks about the weird concept of strip clubs raising money for charity. He recounts a story of when he was working at a radio station in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended a charity event that was sponsored by a local strip club there. He then talks about a story involving a strip club in Oregon that made the news for holding a charity event of their own.

Segment 4: 

Subject: TJ talks about a story in the news about a gang of Santa and elf impersonators who robbed a grocery store in Montreal, Canada. This group, who claimed their heist was inspired by Robin Hood, entered the store and stole food that totaled thousands of dollars.
