Vice President JD Vance will visit Concord on Wednesday to highlight the Trump administration’s policies for working Americans, the White House announced.

Vance is expected to speak about President Donald Trump’s tax cuts for working families and the administration’s support for state and local law enforcement.

According to WRAL-TV, he will also address public safety and provisions in the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

The trip marks Vance’s first official visit to North Carolina since taking office. The White House has not released details about the exact location of his remarks.

His visit comes as officials continue to respond to the fatal stabbing of 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s light rail in August.
