WBT, Radio One and TJ Ritchie partners to present The TJ Ritchie Show

Charlotte radio legend to host a late, live, and local talk show from 7:00PM – 9:00PM

Charlotte, North Carolina – April 30, 2025 – Radio One and News Talk 1110 & 99.3 WBT, along with market radio veteran TJ Ritchie, have announced a partnership to present The TJ Ritchie Show on the heritage news talk station in Charlotte.  The live, two-hour program will air weeknights from 7:00PM – 9:00PM.

TJ has been one half of the legendary Ace & TJ Show (now TJ & Riggins Show) for over thirty years and syndicated on radio for over twenty-five. When syndicated to Charlotte radio, The Ace & TJ Show was consistently one of Charlotte’s highest-rated shows.

The new show on WBT will feature TJ discussing the daily news and political events that Charlotte listeners need to know, talking at length with high profile guests from pop culture to sports to politics, and, most importantly, taking calls from his listeners, making them a part of the show every night. Of course, it will all be delivered with the razor-sharp wit and humor that TJ is known for.  

“This is something I’ve always wanted to do, and getting to do it on the legendary WBT is such a thrill,” TJ said, adding, “The timing is perfect because there are so many people who are just starting to become interested in the political landscape of our culture. Being ‘America’s Coolest Conservative,’ I’ll be able to engage them with a high energy, fun, and humorous show. It’s going to be spectacular. All of that AND I get to keep my day job!”

The TJ Ritchie Show debuts on May 27, 2025.  Airing weeknights from 7:00PM – 9:00PM, Eastern, the show can be heard on 1110 AM and 99.3 FM in Charlotte, world-wide on the WBT mobile app, and on smart devices by requesting, “Open News Talk 1110 WBT.”
