Breaking Brett Jensen kicks off the show by sharing Pete Kaliner’s interview with North Carolina State Representative Dean Arp, sharing an incredible story about saving an elderly woman from a house fire. While driving through Rockingham, North Carolina, Arp saw a mobile home on fire, he and his wife quickly turned around to check on the situation. Once on scene, his wife began calling 911 while he jumped into action after seeing a disabled elderly woman in the doorway. Her wheelchair was tangled up in a blanket, making it impossible for “Ms. Ester,” a 77-year-old woman, to escape on her own. Luckily Arp was able to help get her out of harm’s way, shortly before the entire home was engulfed in flames. Arp gives all credit to God for giving him the inkling to go back and investigate the situation.
