Conservative writer Ryan Gidursky was banned from CNN after making a controversial comment during a panel discussion with Mehdi Hasan.

The exchange became heated when Gidursky made a reference to a terrorist attack, prompting Hasan to accuse him of wishing death upon him.

Girdusky and Hasan went back and forth over whether the latter had been labeled an anti-Semite. “I’m a supporter of the Palestinians, I’m used to it,” Hasan said.

Girdusky replied, “Well I hope your beeper doesn’t go off.”

Hasan responded, “Did you just say I should die? You just said I should be killed.”

The incident occurred during a discussion about Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden, where racist comments were made.

CNN host Abby Phillip apologized to Hasan and viewers, stating that Gidursky had crossed a line.

CNN has since stated that there is no room for racism or bigotry on their network and Gidursky will not be allowed back.
