Nuke Sub to Mid East, The Monsignior McSweeney World Hunger Drive, On The Brett winterble show
Tune in to the Monday edition of the Brett Winterble Show!
Brett kicks off the program by discussing a recent incident involving the Secret Service. The agency has apologized to a Massachusetts salon owner after personnel reportedly broke into her business to use the bathroom during security preparations for a nearby fundraiser attended by Vice President Kamala Harris.
In another major topic, Brett covers the U.S. military’s strategic response in the Middle East. The U.S. is sending the guided missile submarine USS Georgia and expediting the arrival of the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group to the region. This move comes as Israel braces for potential retaliatory attacks from Iran and its allies following the assassination of senior members of Hamas and Hezbollah. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered these deployments to bolster regional security.
