Brett kicks off the program by talking about Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, and suggests that despite being only 60 years old, he appears much older due to “hard miles.” Brett compares him to Bernie Sanders in terms of appearance and age. brett also highlights J.D. Vance’s role in the upcoming election, noting that Vance will be touring with the Harris-Walz ticket and positioning himself as an advocate for “normal people” against the perceived failures of the current administration.
And later in the show Brett talks about A Pakistani national with ties to Iran was charged in a foiled plot to assassinate U.S. government officials on American soil Former President Donald Trump was one of the potential targets of the plot by Asif Merchant, who was arrested on July 12 in Texas before any attacks could be carried out,

Also brett shares that Veterans have accused Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz of “embellishing” his military career and abandoning his National Guard battalion, highlighting that the now-vice presidential pick for the Democrats never served in combat and retired from service ahead of his unit’s 2005 deployment to Iraq.
