Listen Live

Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 will be long remembered as the day that Rush Limbaugh passed away after a year plus struggle with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. His audience of millions was heartbroken.

But here in Charlotte on the legendary WBT, his listeners joined together from 3 to 6pm to share their stories of what Rush meant to them.

Brett Winterble worked with Rush in a variety of capacities on the show from 1995 until his departure in early 2006.

We laughed, we cried, we felt more connected than ever before. And here’s Brett Winterble’s opening monologue about what Rush meant to him and to WBT as a wider listening family.
