Dr. Anthony Fauci misled Americans about Coronavirus research at a lab in Wuhan, China. WBT's mid-morning radio host summarized the need for the nation's top infectious disease expert to be held responsible for his mistakes.
"It's really too premature right now to be pulling back too much," said Fauci, who's come under the public eye since the start of the pandemic. "I'm concerned that we're still at that level of 70,000, and when people start then pulling back on mitigation methods and mitigation activities, you have the risk, and it is a real risk, of seeing it go back up, and it's not something I'm imagining.
“I think we need to have more people giving more opinions, and honestly, quite frankly, I think the Biden administration should remove him and put someone else in place that maybe does understand science or can talk to other countries about how we can be more like these places who are doing this successfully,” she said.
